Reverse description Reverse of this hammered copper falus displays three lines of Arabic-script legend in raised relief, referencing the regnal year, the mint epithet, and the place of issue. The inscription reads 'Sanah XX / Julus Zarb / Ahmadabad', indicating that the coin was struck at the Ahmadabad mint during an unspecified regnal year (XX) of Aurangzeb's reign. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, a characteristic feature of Mughal hammered copper coinage. Heavy green patination covers much of the field, partially obscuring the lower strokes of the legend. No additional ornamental devices or border elements are present.
