Reverse description The reverse presents a bold multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in a quartered or panelled layout across the irregular flan, a design format characteristic of Golkonda Sultanate copper coinage. The legends are rendered in a robust, somewhat angular Naskh script with prominent terminal strokes. The strike shows typical hammered irregularities, with portions of the legend occasionally running to the flan edge. The overall style is consistent with provincial Deccan copper coinage of the mid-seventeenth century.
