The design is boldly struck in low relief and occupies the majority of the flan, bordered by a partial dotted or beaded inner circle. This decorative motif is a hallmark of Jand malik copper coinage of the 11th–12th century. The flan edges are irregular, consistent with hand-cut hammered planchets typical of the period. |
