| Reverse description | Central field displays a multi-line Kufic Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal registers, enclosed within a beaded inner circle characteristic of Abbasid-period provincial fulus. A marginal legend encircles the design along the outer rim. The strike is slightly off-center on the irregular copper flan, consistent with hand-hammered production techniques of the region. The style reflects the epigraphic conventions of Transoxanian vassal coinage under nominal Abbasid suzerainty in the late 9th century. |
