Reverse description The reverse presents a large, bold Arabic inscription occupying the majority of the field, rendered in Kufic script typical of late 5th-century AH Qarakhanid fals coinage struck at Bukhara. A prominent curved or horseshoe-shaped device dominates the central field, enclosing additional Arabic lettering, likely containing the name and titles of the ruler Nasr b. Ibrahim. A cluster of pellets or decorative elements appears in the lower central field. The marginal legend is largely off-flan, consistent with the broad-flan format of this issue.
