The surfaces show typical medieval Islamic copper patination with areas of green and brown oxidation. |

Ahmad and associated titles or mint and date formulae in the Abbasid tradition. A circular marginal legend in Arabic Kufic script runs around the periphery of the coin, partially struck and worn.
