Reverse description Hammered copper flan with a two-line Arabic legend in naskh script occupying the central field, reading 'Struck in Tunis' above a horizontal rule, with the Hijri regnal year appearing in the upper register. The mint name 'Tunis' and the AH date are rendered in a cursive hand consistent with Ottoman provincial workshop practice. The flat, irregular flan and uneven strike are characteristic of this series of Tunisian copper fals.
