| 表面の説明 | Central field features the dynastic tamgha (tribal emblem) enclosed within a square cartouche, itself set within a circular border. The ruler's name and title are rendered in Arabic script in the surrounding margin, distributed around the central device. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered Turkmen copper coinage of this period, with the design frequently struck off-center. |

The Aq Qoyunlu confederation under Jahangir controlled a sprawling territory across eastern Anatolia and the Jazira during this period, perpetually contested against their Kara Qoyunlu rivals. Copper fals of this type were the workhorse of local bazaar exchange — silver and gold issues moved through elite and long-distance trade, while the fals handled the grain stalls and craft workshops of provincial towns. Jahangir's reign ended when his brother Uzun Hasan eventually consolidated Aq Qoyunlu power, a process that took decades of internal fracture.
