Reverse description Central field displays a prominent Arabic epigraphic design within a single circle border, with the name or religious formula rendered in angular Kufic script. A circular marginal legend in Arabic surrounds the central device, though portions are weak or off-flan due to the irregular planchet. The reverse fabric and striking style are consistent with the hammered copper fals coinage of the Seljuq Emirate of Damascus under Duqaq, circa 488–498 AH. The field shows characteristic die rust and surface porosity typical of base-metal issues of this period.
