| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious or honorific legend arranged in stacked horizontal lines within an inner circle. The inscription is executed in angular Kufic script typical of Qarakhanid coinage of the early 11th century. A marginal legend in Arabic script runs around the circumference within a beaded or rope border. The flan is irregular and slightly off-center, consistent with hand-hammered production. The relief is moderately bold though partially flat in areas due to uneven striking. |

Bektuzun's tenure as a Qarakhanid governor at Khujanda (modern Khujand, Tajikistan) falls within the period when the Qarakhanid realm was fragmenting between eastern and western branches following the death of Nasr ibn Ali around 1012–1013. Local governors increasingly issued their own copper fulus as the central authority's grip loosened, making Khujanda-struck pieces attributable to named officials genuinely useful for tracing the political geography of the khanate's dissolution. The A#3442 reference places this among a thinly documented series.
