| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by a square or rectangular cartouche containing multiple lines of Arabic kufic legend arranged in horizontal registers, naming the ruling authority and citing Ahmad b. Ali. The cartouche is enclosed within a circular border composed of a beaded or dotted inner ring, surrounded by a continuous marginal legend in Arabic script reading around the full circumference of the coin.
