| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a stylized bird, likely a duck or goose, depicted in profile facing left in a bold, flat relief characteristic of Artuqid hammered copper coinage. The bird figure is rendered in a schematic, almost abstract manner, surrounded by a circular border of intertwining scrollwork and foliate ornament filling the entire field. Small cross-like decorative motifs appear in the border zone alongside the bird. The overall composition is dense and symmetrical, framed by a raised rim. No inscription appears on this side. |
