| Obverse description | Crudely struck irregular flan exhibiting the characteristic hammered fabric of anonymous Buyid-era Daylam copper coinage. The obverse field bears a multi-line Kufic Arabic inscription arranged in two or three lines across the central field, with angular letterforms typical of late 4th–early 5th century AH provincial mint production. The flan edges are uneven and ragged, a hallmark of locally produced fulus from the Daylam region. Surface patination is a deep brown-black with areas of olive-green cuprite, consistent with prolonged burial. No border or marginal legend is discernible. |
