An outer marginal legend in Arabic script runs along the entire circumference of the coin. The strike is irregular and the flan shows characteristic hammered fabric with uneven edges. The surface carries an olive-green patina with areas of encrustation consistent with prolonged burial. The design is typical of early Umayyad-period provincial copper coinage, with purely epigraphic decoration and no figural elements. |

A continuous marginal legend in Arabic Kufic script encircles the outer border of the flan. The inscription in the central field is believed to contain the Shahada or a religious formula consistent with Umayyad fals coinage conventions. The hammered flan is irregular in outline, and the surface retains a grey-green patina with mineral deposits. Overall style and epigraphy are consistent with provincial Jaziran mint production of the mid-second century AH. |
