| Reverse description | The reverse presents a multi-line Arabic Kufic inscription arranged in several horizontal registers across the central field, likely containing the shahada or dynastic titulature referencing the ruler Ahmad ibn Muhammad. A dotted inner border encircles the central legend, with a further marginal Arabic inscription running along the periphery of the coin. The flan edges are irregular and slightly ragged, typical of hammered copper fulus of the Afrighid period.
