The inscriptions, struck in relief in the Kufic script characteristic of early Islamic coinage, carry the Islamic profession of faith (shahada). A circular marginal legend in Arabic runs around the periphery of the flan, the whole struck on an irregularly shaped copper planchet typical of hammered provincial fals coinage of the period. |

| 裏面の説明 | Reverse displays a multi-line Kufic Arabic legend in the central field, arranged in horizontal registers and enclosed within a plain circular border. The marginal legend, running around the outer periphery of the coin, contains additional Arabic inscriptions recording the ruler's name and titles, consistent with Samanid-influenced Central Asian fals coinage of the early 4th century AH. The flan is irregularly shaped and the strike is characteristically uneven, as is typical of hammered copper coinage from Ispijab in this period. |
