| Beschrijving voorzijde | Epigraphic type with no figurative imagery. The field is occupied entirely by a three-line Arabic Kufic inscription reading مما امر به / عبد الوهاب / بتاهرت, meaning “Of what was ordered by / ʿAbd al-Wahab / at Tahart.” The bold, angular Kufic lettering is executed in high relief and arranged in horizontal registers across the flan. A horizontal line divides the inscription field between the first and second lines. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic hammer-struck fabric with patinated copper surfaces. |
