| Obverse description | Epigraphic type with no figurative imagery. The field is occupied entirely by a three-line Arabic Kufic inscription reading مما امر به / عبد الوهاب / بتاهرت, meaning “Of what was ordered by / ʿAbd al-Wahab / at Tahart.” The bold, angular Kufic lettering is executed in high relief and arranged in horizontal registers across the flan. A horizontal line divides the inscription field between the first and second lines. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic hammer-struck fabric with patinated copper surfaces. |

| Reverse description | Epigraphic type with no figurative imagery. The field is filled with a three-line Arabic Kufic inscription presenting the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith (Shahada): لا اله الا / الله وحده / لا شريك له, meaning “There is no god but / God alone / He has no partner.” The bold angular Kufic script is executed in high relief and arranged in three horizontal registers, separated by a dividing line between the first and second lines. The irregular flan and hammered fabric are consistent with North African Kharijite-Ibadi monetary production of the late 2nd century AH. |
