| Obverse description | The interlaced royal cypher of King Christian X, comprising the letter C encircling a large Roman numeral X, occupies the central field. The monogram is surmounted by a detailed Danish royal crown with pearl-studded arches. The legend ÍSLANDS KONUNGUR (meaning 'King of Iceland') is inscribed along the periphery, divided to the left and right of the crown, with the date appearing in two numerals flanking the crown on either side of the monogram. |
