| Obverse description | Central field features a detailed engraving of a historic multi-masted sailing ship with full sails, rendered in a bimetallic style with a polished inner disc and gold-plated outer ring. The exergue of the inner disc bears the silver fineness mark 'Ag 999' and the date '2003'. The outer ring carries the multilingual specimen legend 'PRUEBA · TRIAL · ESSAI · PROBE' in the upper arc and the issuer inscription 'EESTI VABARIIK' in the lower arc, both in raised Latin lettering. Four heraldic lion devices punctuate the legend at the cardinal points of the outer ring. |
