背面描述	Bimetallic fantasy trial piece featuring a classically draped seated female figure, rendered in the manner of Europa or a personification of justice, positioned facing left within the central cupro-nickel core. She holds a scroll or tablet in her right hand and rests her left arm upon a support, her robes falling in naturalistic folds. A large numeral 1 appears to the right of the figure within the core, and a ring of twelve stars encircles the outer edge of the inner disc. The word SPECIMEN is inscribed on a raised cartouche at the base of the central design.

附加信息	Greece's euro coins were struck years before the country actually adopted the currency — the 1998 date places this squarely in the pre-launch specimen production phase, when eurozone candidate nations were required to produce sample coinage for evaluation and distribution to collectors and banking officials. Greece did not circulate euros until January 2002, making all pre-2002 dated Greek euro pieces specimen or proof issues with no circulation counterparts. The drachma remained legal tender through 28 February 2002.
