| 表面の説明 | Within the copper-nickel centre, a detailed depiction of a Formula 1 racing car in three-quarter view, shown in motion with aerodynamic elements including front and rear wings prominently rendered. The brass outer ring bears the legend GRAND PRIX SAN MARINO arcing across the upper portion, with the commemorative date range 1981 - 2005 inscribed along the lower arc. Twelve five-pointed stars punctuate the ring at regular intervals, echoing the standard Euro coinage design. |

| 裏面の説明 | The copper-nickel centre features a large, bold numeral 1 set against an elaborate engine-turned guilloche background of interlocking concentric and radiating line patterns, evoking speed and precision. The brass outer ring displays a fine concentric circular engine-turned pattern, contrasting with the more complex geometric latticework of the centre. San Marino has no Formula 1 circuit and never did. The San Marino Grand Prix was held at Imola, entirely within Italian territory — the race borrowed the name largely for commercial and promotional reasons, a arrangement that suited the Emilia-Romagna region's interests far more than it reflected any genuine connection to the microstate. This coin marks the final running of that race; the San Marino GP was dropped from the F1 calendar after 2006 and has not returned.
