| 正面描述 | Central field features the sculptural group 'Europe à Cœur' by Ludmila Tcherina (1924–2004), depicting an embracing couple rendered in high relief, a work originally conceived in 1991 and adopted by the European Community as a symbol of a united Europe. The sculpture was unveiled at the Musée d'Art Moderne in March 1992, and a bronze casting was permanently installed before the European Parliament in Strasbourg in spring 1994, later relocated to the forecourt of the new Parliament building at Place Louise-Weiss. The legend 'EUROPE A CŒUR' appears prominently in the field, accompanied by the artist's signature 'Tcherina' below the sculptural motif. |
