Obverse description The central vignette carries a portrait of Diego Armando Maradona, Argentine footballer and coach, with a female allegorical figure rendered in the background. Guilloche underprint patterns typical of novelty note production frame the composition, with denomination and serial inscriptions distributed around the portrait in a layout echoing official euro banknote aesthetics. The overall design is executed in a commemorative fantasy style, with the inscription "AD1OS" integrated as a typographic tribute.

Not a state-issued banknote. "Diego Adios" novelty euros — produced by private printers, usually in Spain and Germany, for use as stage money, film props, or satirical collectibles — circulate freely on secondary markets and are occasionally misrepresented as genuine tender. The European Central Bank has consistently pursued legal action against manufacturers whose products too closely replicate the dimensions and design of genuine euro banknotes, a restriction that forces most producers to introduce deliberate distortions or overprinting.

No central bank authorization. No legal tender status anywhere in the Eurozone.
