| Obverse description | The full coat of arms of the Principality of Monaco occupies the central field, depicting the quartered shield of the Grimaldi family — fusilly argent and gules — surmounted by a princely crown and flanked by two armoured knight supporters, each holding a lance. A ribbon inscribed with the motto 'DEO JUVANTE' appears at the base of the arms.
