裏面の説明	The reverse, a common design for the 1 euro cent denomination across the eurozone, was engraved by Luc Luycx and depicts a stylised globe centred on Europe, illustrating the continent's geographic relationship to Africa and Asia. The face value '1 EURO CENT' is inscribed prominently to the left of the globe. The engraver's initials 'LL' appear in the lower right portion of the field. The overall composition conveys a sense of Europe's place within the wider world.

追加情報	Belgium's euro coinage underwent a mandatory portrait update in 2008 after EU regulations required member states using a monarch's effigy to refresh the design within a set period following a change in national coinage law — Albert II's first portrait had been in use since the euro's 2002 introduction. The 2nd type portrait, by sculptor Jan Alfons Jespers, replaced the earlier Rik Vermeersch design across the lowest denominations first. Production ran across four mints years before Albert II abdicated in favor of Philippe in July 2013, making 2013-dated examples the final year of his likeness on circulating Belgian coinage.
