Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse, designed by Luc Luycx, displays the common European Union design for the 1 euro cent denomination. A stylised globe occupies the left portion of the field, oriented to show Europe in geographic relation to Africa and Asia, emphasising the continent's position on the world stage. The face value '1 EURO CENT' is inscribed to the right of the globe, accompanied by the engraver's initials 'LL' in the lower field. The design is framed by a plain border consistent with the standard euro cent series.

Aanvullende informatie

Andorra did not issue its own coinage until 2014, when a customs agreement with the European Union finally granted the microstate the right to mint euro-denominated coins — despite having used euros informally since the currency's 2002 introduction. The arrangement came decades after similar agreements with France and Spain had governed Andorra's earlier peseta and franc-denominated issues.

Annual mintages have remained extremely low, with many years produced primarily for collector sets rather than general circulation.
