| Obverse description | Within the copper-nickel centre, a full-length armoured figure of Alberto da Giussano, the legendary Lombard warrior, stands facing slightly left, raising a sword aloft in his right hand while bearing a large shield in his left; behind the figure, a stylised outline map of the Padania region occupies the field. The date 2003 appears in the lower centre of the inner disc. The bronze outer ring bears the circular legend EUROPA FEDERALE DEI POPOLI flanking the issuer name PADANIA at the base, separated by ornamental rosette stops. |
