| 背面描述 | The copper-nickel clad nickel centre depicts the common European reverse design by Luc Luycx, featuring a large numeral '1' dominating the left field, with a stylised relief map of the European continent extending to the right. The denomination legend '1 EURO' is inscribed across the lower centre of the inner disc, with the designer's initials 'LL' incorporated discreetly into the design. The outer nickel brass ring bears twelve five-pointed stars in relief, symbolising the unity of the European Union, interspersed with fine vertical line segments. |

Estonia adopted the euro on 1 January 2011, becoming the first former Soviet republic to do so — a date the government had pursued with unusual fiscal discipline, running budget surpluses while most of the eurozone was managing deficits. The "2nd map" reverse, introduced across the eurozone in 2007 to replace the original EU-15 outline, reflects the expanded union and was what Estonia's coinage used from its very first minted euro.
All Estonian euro coins are produced at the Finnish Mint in Vantaa.
