| Obverse description | The copper-nickel clad nickel centre features a raised relief map of Estonia, including the major islands of Saaremaa and Hiiumaa to the west, set within a plain field. The country name EESTI appears in the lower portion of the centre, rendered in bold Latin characters. The mint year is inscribed above the map at the upper margin of the inner disc. The outer nickel brass ring carries twelve raised five-pointed stars arranged at regular intervals, representing the member states of the European Union. |
