Obverse description Draped bust of Felipe V facing right, depicted with long flowing curled hair typical of early 18th-century royal portraiture. The effigy is rendered in a baroque style characteristic of hammered coinage of the period, with visible drapery at the shoulder. The surrounding legend reads PHILIPVS · V · REX, partially visible along the periphery of the irregularly shaped flan. The overall strike is somewhat weak in areas, consistent with the hammered technique employed at the Palma mint.
