Reverse description Crowned and quartered royal arms of Spain at center, featuring the castles of Castile and the lions of León in the principal quarters, with the pomegranate of Granada in base and the fleur-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty in the escutcheon. The shield is flanked by the Pillars of Hercules with the denomination numeral 1 to the left and the assayer initials to the right. The reverse legend IN UTROQ FELIX AUSPICE DEO encircles the design, and the mint mark of Lima appears at the base of the composition.
