| Obverse description | Armored and draped bust of Maximilian Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria, facing right, wearing a voluminous full-bottomed wig with flowing curls extending to the shoulders, characteristic of the late Baroque period. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail on the cuirass and lace cravat visible at the chest. The date 1713 appears in the lower field beneath the bust. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, interrupted by the portrait, with a beaded inner border and a milled outer rim framing the design. |
