A blue enamelled crescent frames the upper portion of the design, adorned with a ring of twelve five-pointed stars arranged in a arc above the figures. The legend ESPAÑA appears in the lower field beneath the central design elements. The composition reflects the European Community motif combined with a tribute to the celebrated Catalan poet and clergyman. |
