Obverse description Central field features the crowned Arms of Zeeland, depicting a heraldic shield divided horizontally: the upper half displays a rampant lion emerging from stylized waves, while the lower half shows three horizontal wavy bars representing the sea, emblematic of the province of Zeeland. The shield is surmounted by a mural crown with foliate decoration. The design is rendered in low relief with no peripheral legend, the coin's provincial identity conveyed entirely through the armorial device.
