| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the crowned arms of West Friesland, featuring a rampant lion to the left and a stylized lion or serpentine figure to the right within a divided field. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown rendered in relief. The design is set within a plain round field with no peripheral legend, consistent with the civic heraldic style employed by Dutch provincial mints of the early eighteenth century. |
