| 裏面の説明 | The large VOC monogram — the interlaced cypher of the Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie — occupies the central field, flanked symmetrically by two sprays of leafy laurel or olive branches curving outward from the base. Above the monogram, a small rooster (the mint mark of the West Friesland chamber) is flanked by two small floral rosettes. The date 1756 is inscribed in the lower field beneath the monogram. The entire design is enclosed within the same milled granulated border as the obverse. |
