| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central crowned oval shield bearing the arms of Cleves — a quartered escutcheon featuring a fleur-de-lis cross — flanked by two rampant lions as supporters, each facing inward toward the shield. A large open royal crown surmounts the shield. Below the escutcheon, an ornamental foliate mantling extends symmetrically into the lower field. The design is executed in bold relief with no peripheral legend. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays the Latin territorial designation in three lines across the field in large, boldly struck capital letters: DUC: / CLIVIÆ / 1753, identifying the Duchy of Cleves and giving the date of issue. A small decorative floral ornament appears below the date, flanked by scrolling vine motifs, while a six-petalled rosette privy mark is placed above the legend at the top of the field. The coin's rim shows a fine reeded edge visible in the periphery. |
