Obverse description Central field dominated by the crowned quartered Spanish royal coat of arms, featuring the castles of Castile and lions of León prominently divided by a cross, surmounted by an ornate royal crown. The shield is rendered in the crude hammered style typical of low-denomination copper coinage of the period. A circular Latin legend surrounds the shield, partially legible due to the irregular flan. The overall composition reflects the standard Habsburgian heraldic typology employed on Spanish Netherlands subsidiary coinage of the late 17th century.
