Reverse description The city name U / TRECHT is inscribed across the field in two lines, with the initial 'U' prominently positioned at the top and 'TRECHT' below, all contained within an ornamental quatrefoil frame of curved foliate scrollwork. The date 1657 appears in the lower segment of the quatrefoil. The whole design is enclosed within a beaded border, with small lozenge ornaments at the cardinal points of the quatrefoil.
