Reverse description The reverse presents the Latin inscription CIV. TRAIECT arranged across three lines within a decorative quatrefoil or lobate cartouche formed by curved raised lines with small lozenge or dot ornaments at each junction. The date 1657 appears in the lower portion of the cartouche. A beaded border encircles the entire design, consistent with the milled production technique and the piedfort format of this issue.
