| Obverse description | Central field bears the provincial name ZEELANDIA inscribed in two lines as ZELAN / DIA within an ornate Baroque cartouche formed by foliate and scroll strapwork. Three six-pointed stars are arranged in a triangular pattern above the inscription. The date appears at the base of the cartouche. The overall composition is framed by elaborately engraved acanthus-style scrollwork extending to the coin's edge. |
