Reverse description Full-length facing figure of St. Justina, the titular patroness of Venice's naval victory at Lepanto, standing in a hieratic posture and holding a palm branch in one hand and a book in the other. To either side of the saint, the background depicts a ship at sea and a rocky island silhouetted on the horizon, alluding to Venice's maritime dominion. The numeral 124, denoting the coin's value in soldi, appears prominently in the exergue. The encircling Latin legend invokes the saint in devotional address. The overall composition is executed in the formal, ceremonial style characteristic of late Venetian Republic coinage.
