| 背面描述 | A full-length, facing figure of St. Justina is centrally positioned, holding a palm branch in one hand and a book in the other, attributes befitting her identity as virgin martyr. The background features a maritime scene with a ship at sea and a rocky island visible on the horizon to either side of the saint. The numeral '124' appears in the exergue, denoting the coin's value in soldi. The reverse legend in Latin encircles the design, invoking the saint in a devotional phrase. The composition is characteristic of the Venetian baroque engraving tradition. |

Alvise Pisani served as Doge from 1735 until his death in 1741, and ducatone issues bearing his name were struck in silver for circulation. This gold off-metal strike — nearly 35 grams of fine gold — was almost certainly produced as a presentation piece, a practice the Venetian mint maintained for visiting dignitaries and senior officials of the Republic. Friedberg 1390 is rarely encountered, and examples outside major institutional collections change hands infrequently.
