Reverse description The crowned arms of the Seven United Provinces, displayed on a large shield supported on either side by a rampant crowned lion facing inward, each lion shown in three-quarter frontal view. The fivefold quartered arms reflect the confederate heraldry of the Dutch Republic. Below the central shield, the date 1751 appears within a cartouche, accompanied by the mint mark of Utrecht. The motto legend in Latin encircles the design along the rim, punctuated by a lozenge-shaped stop.
