| Obverse description | Draped bust of Ferdinand I of Bourbon, Duke of Parma, facing right, with powdered wig tied at the back with a ribbon. The effigy is rendered in a refined late Baroque style, with the engraver's signature SILIPR. visible on the truncation. A six-pointed star appears in the lower field. The circular legend reads FERDINANDVS I · HISPAN · INFANS, separated by dots, and is contained within a beaded inner border. |
