Reverse description The crowned coat of arms of the States General of the Dutch Republic, prominently displayed in the centre of the field and supported on either side by rampant crowned lions. Below the arms, within an ornamental cartouche, appears the interlaced VOC monogram of the Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie. The reverse legend, divided by the central device, reads the famous Dutch Republic motto indicating that small things grow through concord.
