Reverse description Full-length frontal effigy of Christ in Majesty, standing within a beaded mandorla (elliptical glory) lined with six-pointed stars, his right hand raised in benediction and his left hand holding the Gospels. The figure is rendered in a hieratic Byzantine style characteristic of the Venetian gold ducat series. The surrounding legend, a devotional dedication to Christ as ruler, encircles the entire design within the coin's outer border.
