| Obverse description | Shield bearing the arms of the Condulmer family (a bend sinister) displayed prominently in the central field, surmounted by the papal tiara with its characteristic triple crown, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The composition is rendered in the bold, low-relief style typical of early fifteenth-century Italian hammered gold coinage. The papal tiara rises above the shield as the principal heraldic emblem of pontifical authority. The surrounding legend runs clockwise in Gothic-influenced Latin capitals between the beaded circle and the coin's irregular outer edge. |
