Obverse description Shield bearing the arms of the Condulmer family (a bend sinister) displayed prominently in the central field, surmounted by the papal tiara with its characteristic triple crown, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The composition is rendered in the bold, low-relief style typical of early fifteenth-century Italian hammered gold coinage. The papal tiara rises above the shield as the principal heraldic emblem of pontifical authority. The surrounding legend runs clockwise in Gothic-influenced Latin capitals between the beaded circle and the coin's irregular outer edge.
